Industria Durial (legal name QUIMICADURIAL S.A.S.) is an Ecuadorian manufacturer of professional pastry ingredients, based in Priorato, Ibarra, in the province of Imbabura. Founded in 2020, we produce Cover Cream and Cover Gel for more than 200 bakeries, pastry shops, hotels and distributors across Ecuador. This is the English summary of our Spanish company page.
Industria Durial was founded in 2020 on a straightforward premise: Ecuadorian pastry professionals deserve industrial-grade ingredients made in their own country and formulated for their own climate. Imported whipping bases are priced for a different market and behave unpredictably in the heat and humidity of the Ecuadorian coast. We build ours for the conditions our customers actually work in, from the cool highlands of Ibarra to the humid heat of Guayaquil.
We manufacture directly at our plant in Priorato, Ibarra, and we sell business-to-business only. There is no intermediary between the production line and the bakery: the person who answers a quote request works at the company that made the product. That is what lets us hold consistent quality across batches and negotiate volume pricing case by case.
Every batch of Cover Cream and Cover Gel passes quality control before it leaves the plant — texture, flavour and yield are checked so that a bakery ordering in March gets the same product it ordered in September.
A vegetable whipping cream (chantilly-type) sold in 1 kg bags. One kilogram yields 2.8–3.2 kg of whipped cream, needs no added sugar, holds its shape up to 28 °C and keeps for 12 months refrigerated while sealed. See the product page.
